THE BENEFITS OF PAPAYA IN SOAP

Updated: Feb 19

Papaya is a type of fruit that grows naturally in tropical and sub-tropical areas in the Western hemisphere. My 2-acre property called The GoodEarth, located in Sarasota, has 7 Papaya trees on the property. I’ve given some of the fruits to friends, made many jars of Papaya Jam, froze the ripe fruit for our morning smoothies, dehydrated the fruit for snacks and juiced the fruit which was used in this Special Release Soap.

Every part of this tropical fruit including the leaves and seeds are great for our body, inside and outside. According to the “Healing Powers of Papaya” by Barbara Simonsohn, the exfoliating and botanical properties of papaya soap make it an effective acne treatment.

Papaya Oil

The seeds are cold pressed and create a rejuvenating oil that is great on the skin. It helps to reduce acne scarring and with high levels of Vitamin C, it helps brighten the skin. This oil may also be used to remove blemishes, even out skin tone and firm the skin.

Papaya Extract

This bar contains the enzyme papain which is great for its exfoliating properties, removing dead & damaged skin. It helps dissolve excess sebum and unclogs pores.
